Ishaa Koppikar is the Khallas girl whose acting skills take a backseat to her item girl repute even as she tries to move beyond it.

Ishaa was born on 19th September 1976 in Mumbai, India. Though born in the city where it all happens, Koppikar is a Mangalorean. She studied Life Science at the Ramnarain Ruia College.
After working with Gautam Rajadhyaksha, she got a chance to work in several commercials like Camay, Rexona, L’Oreal, Tips & Toes and Coca Cola. She is the face of Police Watches and Jewelry. She lent her presence to music videos like KK’s Patli Kamar and Bandish Projekt’s Bhor.
She participated in the Femina Miss India contest. Though the crown didn’t land on her head, she did win the Miss Talent title. She sat as a judge on the Miss Universe Pageant 2008held in Vietnam.
