This Bengali beauty was born on 4th March, 1980 in Kolkata. Though she debuted in a Hindi film, she has appeared in South Indian movies as well. She was also seen in TV ads of brands like Neelkamal furniture, Parachute, Fair and Lovely and Ayush.
Kamalinee debuted in Phir Milenge (2004). She played Shilpa Shetty's younger sister in the movie. The film's story was praised and though it was not a huge commercial success it was appreciated a great deal. However Kamalinee wasn't noticed in her performance as a girl whose older sister has been tested positive for HIV.
In the same year she starred in the Telugu film Anand (2004). This is the role she was waiting for, as it got her tremendous recognition and acoolades.
